The guy was a walking talking charicature of an Israeli Public Relations officer. Must be that link to Israeli intelligence that allowed them to get the grants they were offering. Grant money goes to useful idiots like these two morons so long as it is clear that they are supportive of certain "editorial polemics", and as any guest will learn about GNN.tv, the editorial framing has been reduced to that of a very narrow and almost irrelevant alternate news site.

Nothing can be discussed there without the Core Trolls (some of whom we know are linked to Israeli circles) making sure that the editorial policies of Anthony, Ian, and Silverback, are ruthlessly enforced.

What is left there is a love fest of primarily ignorant people who have no skills or talent to see past the psy-op framing.

This passage neatly summarises my view and experience of GNN:

Girls from a company called Future TV were putting make-up on teenagers selling ‘Freedom bracelets’, and the Future Youth Association stood behind a trestle table giving out stickers and blue ribbons in memory of Hariri. In front of the grave, hundreds of multicoloured candles had melted on to the ground. Wreaths of lilies lay in piles and two or three white doves tottered about in the wax. By Hariri’s head, a mini advertising hoarding demanded ‘The Truth’."

I know this investigation has come to some far reaching conclusions but you have to consider the years of experience we have all had with GNN.

To be constantly badgered by a core group of users who hardly ever post blogs or forum posts...and admit that they have, in the past, acted as 'forum police' to patrol threads initiated by the posters who are 'intellectually short'.

People complained about this core group for years and nothing is ever done. Lappe' will post his famous "we gotta respect each other...these are the rules" blog and the usual suspects will badger people in that very blog with no reprocusions what so ever.

So, imagine our surprise when just recently it was exposed that the WORST OF THE WORST of disrespectful obfuscatory $#@holes on that site, SHOGO, actually worked/works(?) for GNN as a programmer.

You can imagine why the entire community was in a uproar. Marshall initially boldly lied, but when irrefutable proof was posted he had to suck it up and take a gut punch for lieing to everyone.

Marshall made it into an argument of "why is everyone pissed? we hire anyone we want to." Which of course is the case.

But, out of all the poeple you hire the one guy that has treated the majority of your community like complete and utter shit without as much as a peep from Marshall! And you wonder why people are pissed? Are you an idiot or just playing one Marshall?

It is about allowing a disrespectful, arrogant asshole to 'police the forums' for years on end without as much as a peep about it...and then employing him as a programmer when the obvious animosity this person has generated is apparent to everyone, especially Lappe' and Marshall.

It was about employing THAT person. The person that patrolled the 9/11 Truth related material and constantly argued and slandered anyone trying to discuss it.

Any other user would have been not an issue.

And then the campaign of deception to hide the fact that this person was working for GNN....the months of deception...and the final lies that were exposed face to face.

There are so many more tid-bits that only one who actually goes there and participates will notice or give credence to.

Also notice how Anthony Lappe' says "I only made about $20,000 from GNN last year"

"From GNN.." is the keyword.

This guy has used grant money to fund his career. Maybe 20k from just gnn but Warner Books is not chump change. He signed a book deal with Warner Books to produce his epic War Porn web comic into a 200pg hardcover book.

Go read "Shooting War by A. Lappe'" and bring your puke bucket.

These guys are no better then a company going to Iraq and making insane profits from the chaotic situation over there.

They rode the 9/11 wave and got tons of traffic from their video, S11 Redux and Aftermath...then Iraq hit and, just like CNN, they dropped 9/11 and started selling shit about Iraq.

I imagine Marshall is in Iran right now laying down the framework for the next big release. Actually, he is.

I posted the following at GNN, which I left for quite a while because of all of the idiot trolls. Many of you all know me....I've been around GNN since 02.

None of us are unflawed; none of us haven't screwed up. I've been reading the great GNN uncovering, and find it to be somewhat silly and over the top. Stephen Marshall went to a private school; GNN got this foundation money .... eeeeeeewwwww!!

Been in the hardcore activist scene since the Freedom Riders. I know what a rat smells like. I'm occasionally fooled, but not often.

I'm very old and I have a highly developed crap detector. I encourage folks involved in this mess to spend some time fine tuning your own crap detector before you find something up your rear end that you didn't expect.

These kinds of pissing contest, conspiracy shit-throwing because someone isn't exactly who you wanted them to be is why the "left" can't get things done. Think about it. Divide and conquer, hello!!!!

Ring Ring, pick up the clue phone...

Don't be chumps. Be critical, demand answers, and stick around places you disapprove of to change them. Don't run around the corner and up a building to throw rocks. Any idiot can do that, it's the easy way out.

For the trolls that got banned. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. You are not missed.

I posted something similar to this in the old GNN. Psyops, schmyops…who give a shit? Everything on the internet is goes right to big brother. Folks who don’t realize that are more naive than I am (which is pathetic).

Less than great corporations fund things that are often ultimately for the good of the many. Our overlords here screwed up. You think I like the idea of that piece of used toiletpaperscum, Shogo, having my personal info? No fucking way (sorry to Anthony’s Mom). It grosses me out and pisses me off.

That being said, the real evil dooers around here and elsewhere are the ones who follow posters around and attempt to tear down everything they write…..for fucking fun.

I’ll never forget the Rachel Corrie piece Osama Dubya wrote on the old GNN. The hateful, disgusting, soul-sucking and life-destroying comments written shocked me to my core. I’ll never forget them. I can only imagine the Karma those assholes have created for themselves by spewing such hate.

These kind of trolls are “Plants”. They’re planted by the powers that be to destroy groups from the inside. As an old activist, I watched this beginning with the Panthers to present day environmental groups. We got quite good at spotting them, after many of us got “had”. They are always the ones trying to goad folks into doing really bad, stupid shit that discredits the organization.

Sometimes the “Plants” aren’t even planted by the “bad guys”. They’re just fucked up, bankrupt, degenerate soul-less masses of protoplasm whose DNA has been twisted by generations of hate, inbreeding, coca cola, white flour, bad drugs, brain frying video games, watching bad TV, and listening to new age music.

The end result is the same….their intent is to take down and destroy and bring it all decended to their level.

In spite of my problems with our overlords and the new GNN (hate the white). I can sense the intent here, and it’s ain’t evil. Flawed, yes, as we are all flawed, but evil….no.

To those of you whose intent is taking this and other places down: Grow up.

The so-called left is part of the problem. As you've said, you're old and been around for decades. Maybe it's time to retire or consider a change of strategy because, obviously, the left has failed miserably at doing whatever it is they niavely think is helping the country.

So, considering our circumstances in the here and now, I think we can conclude that the 'left's' methods are just not effective anymore. The left has no testicles and hasn't for a very long time.

I'm not trying to offend you but I really am not a fan of 'the left'. The 'left' voted for the Patriot Act, the 'left' forgot about 9/11 Truth, the 'left' voted to give the RIGHT vast war powers to invade Iraq, illegally.

And most of all....THE LEFT IS BARELY WHISPERING ABOUT IMPEACHMENT, WAR CRIME TRIBUNALS, AND THE EVENTUAL IMPRISONMENT OF THESE PSYCHOPATHS.
